How to cook 怎么煮:
Soak bird's nest in cold boiled water for 1-2 hours, pour away the water after cleaning. And place the bird’s nest in the double-boiler.
将燕窝浸泡在冷开水中1-2小时,清洗后倒掉水,并将泡发好且沥干的燕窝放进炖盅。
1. Add water to the double-boiler. One bowl of water for one piece of bird's nest.
加入适量的水于炖盅内,一盏燕窝约需一碗水。
2. Double-boiled in moderate amount of water for 1 hour over small flame.
然后将炖盅放入锅里,隔水以小火炖1个小时。
3. Depend on individual preference, you can add wolf berries, red dates, dried longan, ginseng or cordyceps during double-boiling.
在烹煮时可依个人喜好加入冬虫夏草,泡参或红枣等。
4. Add rock sugar and cook for another 5 minutes, until rock sugar dissolves completely.
出锅前5分钟加入冰糖,慢火炖至冰糖完全溶解,即可享用。
